Schweitzer Cat Skiing with Selkirk Powder Company

Selkirk Powder Company offers cat skiing tours on the backside of the ski resort where you can revel in amongst the untracked powder. The minimum ability level is for very strong intermediate riders who are competent riding black diamond terrain, ungroomed slopes, and in amongst trees. Cross Country Skiing Schweitzer

Schweitzer has 32km of Nordic skiing trails. Conveniently the trails depart from the Schweitzer village, and ski rentals are available from the Ski and Ride Center in the village. Alternatively you can rent snowshoes and enjoy the serenity of the trails on showshoes.

Tubing

Woo hoo! There’s tubing available at Schweitzer on weekends, and the tubing area is conveniently located next to the beginners’ ski area near the village.

Snowmobiling

In addition to cat skiing, Selkirk Powder offers guided backcountry snowmobile trips. This is a great activity for powder hounds of a different variety!
