Sioux Lodge
The renovated units of Sioux Lodge at the Grand Targhee Resort are semi self contained and come in a range of configurations from studios to two bedroom units. You’ll sleep soundly knowing that you won’t have to compete with too many people on the hill for the freshies in the morning.
Where is the Sioux Lodge?
The Sioux Lodge is located at the
Grand Targhee ski resort in a very convenient location. The lodge is literally ski-in and can be ski-out if you’re heading down to the Shoshone Lift. The ticket office, shops and restaurants are within 100ft of your door. Fantastic!
Grand Targhee ski resort is on the western side of the Grand Teton range, just (literally) on the Wyoming side of the border with Idaho. The nearest town is Driggs and the gateway cities are Idaho Falls in Idaho and Jackson in Wyoming. Grand Targhee offers shuttles from the airports at Jackson and Idaho Falls.
Jackson Hole is 1:20 hours away over Teton Pass near the town of Jackson. Jackson Hole is the big daddy, while on the doorstep of Jackson, the small Snow King is a small, fun and cheap alternative.

For breakfast Snorkel’s is the place to go, and it also does reasonable sandwiches for lunch. The Branding Iron serves up first rate dinners.
At the Trap Bar, the Powderhounds had one of the best burgers served to them in the US. It came with bacon and bleu cheese – mmmmm, bleu cheese........ A great range of brews are on tap. Also, get a dose of the unique waffle chips during après. Live music plays most afternoons.
