Driggs Lodging
A range of motels, condos, and cabins abound in Driggs as well as the odd B&B or two. For a Driggs motel with huge rooms and pool facilities plus cheap rates, try the Super 8 to the north of the town centre.
On-Mountain Grand Targhee Lodging
The village at Grand Targhee is very small with limited restaurants and bars, however if you are there to ski and get first tracks; this is the place to stay. The on-mountain Grand Targhee accommodations offer tremendous value compared to neighbouring resorts like Jackson Hole's Teton Village.
All lodgings are slopeside (technically all ski in/ski out) and combined, have only a few hundred beds. Staying on-mountain is not only great because of the ski-in ski-out convenience, but the small friendly village gives the feel of a private ski resort.
Other Grand Targhee Accommodations
There are also Grand Targhee accommodations in the area on the border between Idaho and Wyoming. On the Wyoming side, the tiny little hamlet of Alta has several types of accommodation including the classical, highly rated Teton Tepee Ski Lodge.
You can stay on-mountain at Grand Targhee lodging for the superb convenience of slope-side accommodations. Other Grand Targhee lodging options are off the mountain near the border of Idaho and Wyoming (Alta), or in or near the town of Driggs. Or you can day trip to Grand Targhee from your
Jackson Hole lodging at Teton Village or Jackson.
