Bear Claw Lodge, which is an amazingly beautiful luxurious lodge in a remote location on the Kispiox River.
Skeena Heliskiing only employs UIAGM or ACMG/CSGA certified and highly experienced guides, as they are there to ensure your safety whilst leading your group, as well as helicopter pilots with long time heliskiing and mountain flying experience to keep you safe whilst flying you from run to run.
Skeena Heli Skiing have chosen to use B2 helicopters as they allow them to access the best terrain and better cater to smaller groups.

Where is Skeena Heliskiing Located?
Bear Claw Lodge is located 138km northwest of the town of Smithers in northern British Columbia Canada, far far away from major civilisation and the hubbub of everyday life.
The nearest airport is in Smithers which can be accessed via daily direct flights from Vancouver International Airport. Flights from Calgary to Smithers go via Prince George.
The Skeena van shuttle will take you on the drive from Smithers to the Bear Claw Lodge.
Heli Ski Terrain
The Skeena Mountain range has a huge diversity of terrain, from the high vertical slopes with steeps to powder bowls with pillows and chutes as well as plenty of tree skiing. An abundance of sweeping glades provide lots of heli skiing opportunities during bad weather periods. Through Skeena’s geographical location and diversity of terrain they consistently enjoy one of the lowest number of down days in the industry.
When Does Skeena Heliskiing Operate?
The Skeena Heliskiing season starts mid January and runs through until late March.
