Santiago, Chile.
Day 1 – Santiago Arrival Day – Travel To Nevados de Chillan
The guides will arrange morning pick-ups at Santiago Int’l airport or your Santiago hotel. You will start your journey traveling south to the powder capital of Chile, Nevados de Chillan. En route the group will stop for a typical Chilean lunch before the road trip continues to the ski pueblo of Las Trancas where you will spend 4 nights in this forested magical valley, where huge storms are known to settle in!
Days 2-4 Ski/Ride Nevados de Chillan
For 3 full days you will explore one of our favorite ski resorts in Chile, Nevados de Chillan, which offers thousands of vertical feet to descend; a lunar-like landscape including 3 volcanic peaks; and continues to be a relatively ‘undiscovered’ snow paradise. Nevados features everything from long groomed slopes and the gentle Tres Marias lava tubes to adventurous steeps in Pirigallo Valley and steaming summits of the Chillan volcanoes. The evenings are spent celebrating the day in true Chilean style.
Day 5 – Travel To Santiago
After stopping at the bustling meat, produce and artisan market in Chillan you will head to the Miguel Torres winery for a 4-course lunch and wine pairing. With bellies full the group will continue north to Santiago, Chile’s vibrant capital city, to enjoy an evening at a local restaurant plus nightlife spots.
Days 6-8 – Ski/Ride Valle Nevado/La Parva/ El Colorado
The van leaves Santiago and switchbacks its way up to the mountain village of Farellones and the Tres Valles ski complexes of La Parva, El Colorado and Valle Nevado. Surrounded by massive Andean peaks, Tres Valles offers expansive terrain options from in bounds cruisers and open bowls to some of Chile’s premier lift-accessed backcountry, including private shuttles on Santa Teresa. You will spend 3 nights in the cozy Andean lodge in the village of Farellones.
Day 9 – Departure Day – Ski La Parva – Transport Santiago International Airport
You will spend the morning on the slopes at La Parva or relaxing at the Powder Lodge before returning to the Santiago International Airport by 6pm and saying NOS VEMOS for departing flights.
