Keystone Resort provides a wide range of activities other than skiing and boarding.
Keystone Cat Skiing
The cat skiing at the resort is a huge bonus for Keystone. The snowcat accessed Keystone Adventure Tours (KAT) take place up in high alpine bowls that top out at a whopping 12,614 feet (3,844m), guaranteeing great snow conditions. This Keystone cat skiing is significantly cheaper than your average day out cat skiing.
Other Keystone Activities
The Tube Park is near the top of Dercum Mountain and is open til 8pm – whenever night skiing is running. It has a covered lift.
Guided Slopecycle and Snowbike tours are also available for the insane. For a more sensible activity, a good way to see the entire mountain is by taking the Peak to Peak Snowshoe tour.
Lakeside Village has a massive ice rink available for ice skating and hockey.
Mechanical activities at Keystone include Scenic Snowcat Rides (cat skiing without the skiing!!), snowmobiling and sleigh ride dinners.
If you have your own car, a drive up to Loveland Pass on Hwy 6 is worthwhile. Pack your skis and avalanche gear and ski down for a pick up, or just enjoy the views.
