Revelstoke Activities
Wild or mild, there are plenty of Revelstoke activities in winter besides just skiing or snowboarding at the Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
Revelstoke Heli Skiing
Revelstoke is heli skiing central.
Eagle Pass Heliskiing provides day heli skiing and multi-day trips in small group formats that are really well suited to experts and high-end advanced riders.

Revelstoke Cat Skiing Activities
The Revelstoke Mountain Resort no longer offers cat skiing within the small area adjacent to the ski resort, but for single day cat skiing you can check out Great Northern Snowcat Skiing (transport from Revelstoke provided) or head there for a multi-day trip (you’ll need to book well in advance).
Another Revelstoke cat skiing operation is Mustang Powder who offer superb multi-day cat skiing trips (that are really difficult to get into).

Cross Country Skiing Revelstoke
For cross-country skiing, the Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club has 26km of groomed trails. The trailhead is 7km south of Revelstoke on Highway 23 and there are a couple of Revelstoke ski shops that rent out Nordic ski equipment.
Snowmobiling
Revelstoke has long been known as a mecca for sledding. Great Canadian Snowmobile Tours located just north of Revelstoke, offer a range of day-time, twilight and evening tours including fondue nights and chocolate moonlight rides. Some of these tours only operate in March and April. For standard tours they offer trips for both beginners and experienced riders, and if you want to DIY they also provide rentals.

Leisurely Activities Revelstoke
For a slightly less adrenaline-pumped activity you could go to the Revelstoke Aquatic Centre (600 Campbell Avenue). The pool provides plenty of fun year-round for children, the young at heart, and fitness freaks that haven’t used up enough energy skiing or snowboarding. In addition to swimming lanes, facilities include a waterslide, climbing wall, wading pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room.
The Revelstoke Museum and Archives (corner of First & Boyle) provides an overview of the history of the town and district. During winter it is only open 1-4pm. The Railway Museum (719 Track Street West Revelstoke) also provides a great appreciation of the heritage of the area and the Canadian railway.
The Roxy Theatre (115 MacKenzie Ave) is a historical theatre but you won’t be stuck watching re-runs of the Blue Brothers. They show recent movies, although the cinema has the classic small town tradition of only showcasing one movie per week.
